Bachelor of Business & Information Technology
This program is aimed at high-caliber under-graduate students who are both academically able
and exhibit strong managerial potential. This program spreads over 8 semesters and covers
132 credit hours in 4 years.
The package consists of 44 courses with 2 months of internship in a reputed public or
private organization and a capstone project.
Program Objectives
The objective of the four-year program is to create a highly skilled talent pool that is academically exceptional and practically sound. This is ensured by:
- Developing a general comprehension of the fundamental aspects of Business & Information Technology.
- Nurturing the socially responsible future leaders in the fields of business & information technology who possess comprehensive knowledge and enhanced skill sets in the various domains of Business & Information Technology.
- Creating a talent pool for the attainment of economic, social, and environmental sustainability across all economic sectors in Pakistan.
- Enabling students to develop specialized skills and competencies in the domain of Business & Information Technology.
- Assisting students in enhancing their problem-solving abilities, as well as their oral and written communication skills, alongside their decision-making capabilities.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the BBIT (4 years) Program a candidate must have: Intermediate or Equivalent qualification with at least second division in intermediate examination from a recognized Board or University.
Admission Criteria
Admission merit is determined on the past academic record. The academic record is evaluated by giving weighted percentage marks obtained in Matriculation, F.A./F.Sc. or its equivalent examinations. The net merit is calculated by the following academic formula. [75% Academic + 25% Enter Test]
25% Marks Obtained in Matric + Marks Obtained in Inter + 20 Marks of Hafiz-e-Quran (if applicable)
25% of Total Matric Marks + Total Intermediate Marks
Award of Degree
For the award of BBIT (4 years) degree, a student must have:
- Passed courses totaling at least 132 credits from the courses given below.
- Completed an Internship and a research project under the supervision of a member of the faculty institute and will be evaluated by a research evaluation committee constituted by the Director.
- Obtained a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 or higher out of a maximum of 4.0.
- Fulfilled other requirements outlined in the rules & regulations.

The courses taught in BBIT are given below. The courses may be revised as a result of continuous review conducted every Semester to bring them at par with top-class foreign universities' courses and accommodate HEC, industry needs, commerce and the government requirements.
